Service investigative and technology-protection execution
Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI)
Investigative/CI partner serving Air Force and Space Force equities. Route technology-protection and foreign-threat concerns affecting relevant programs through AFOSI and the responsible program/security office; public OSI material identifies support for both Services and engagement around advanced technology.
What this office does not control
Technology protection is not general authority to direct private-sector investment or exercise any desired commercial power. Investigative, counterintelligence and acquisition actions retain different legal bases, delegated officials and coordination requirements.
Counts are matches to names and explicit aliases within the original role labels. They are routing leads, not appointment, warrant or delegation evidence.
Conduct industrial-security functions, assist other agencies, and integrate DCSA FOCI assessment with acquisition responsibility, contract conditions and oversight.
